Terms of Use

The rules for using this website and ordering from us.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order or booking you make through it. The website is run by ALT TAB SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", "the studio"), trading as Innovative Design Studio by ALT TAB. By using the website, creating an account, booking a class or placing a print order, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The policies that form part of these terms are the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Cancellation and Refund Policy, the Class Booking Terms, the 3D Printing Service Terms, the Print on Demand Partner Terms and the Copyright and Intellectual Property Notice.

2. Who may use the website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian make the booking or order for you. We serve customers in Singapore only. Delivery is within Singapore only.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms or the law.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD). Prices shown are those at the time you order. A price for a 3D print is the price you pay unless we find a problem with your file when we examine it; see the 3D Printing Service Terms. Payment is taken by our payment provider, HitPay, on its own page. We never see or keep your card details. An order or booking is confirmed only when payment is received.

5. Orders and bookings

An order or booking is an offer from you. We accept it when we confirm it. We may refuse or cancel an order or booking, for example where a class is full, a model cannot be printed safely, an item is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or we suspect misuse. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund what you paid for that order or booking.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Your rights to cancel, change or be refunded are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be excluded.

7. What you must not do

You must not:

use the website unlawfully, or to harm, deceive or harass anyone;
upload a file you do not have the right to use, or one that infringes another person's rights;
order a print that is, or could be used as, a weapon or part of one, that is illegal or obscene, or that is designed to hurt people or damage property. Making a weapon without a licence is an offence in Singapore, including by 3D printing;
probe, scrape, overload or try to break into the website or its systems, or get around any limit or check on it;
pretend to be someone else, or use another person's account.

We may remove content, refuse a file or close an account that breaks these rules, and may report unlawful conduct to the authorities.

8. Intellectual property

The website, its design, text, images and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. All rights not expressly given are reserved. The Copyright and Intellectual Property Notice explains what you may and may not do, and how to tell us about an infringement.

9. Your files and content

You keep the rights in the files and content you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, process, slice, print and show your file to our staff as needed to do your order, and to keep a copy for the period in the Privacy Policy. You promise that you have the right to give us the file and that using it as you ask will not infringe anyone's rights.

10. Our service and its limits

We take reasonable care in running the website and the studio. The website is provided "as is" and is in development: it may be unavailable, slow or wrong at times, and features may change. Items are made by machine using FDM printing, so small variations in colour, finish and size are normal and are not a defect. We cannot guarantee exact dimensions. We do not guarantee the safety or reliability of anything you send us to print; see the 3D Printing Service Terms.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not let us exclude, such as for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss, damage or injury of any kind, however it arises, connected with the website, an order, a booking or a printed item, including for the amount you paid. We are a print service only and are not liable for how you use an item after we have printed it. A refund under the Cancellation and Refund Policy is a refund, not an admission of liability. We are also not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, changes in law, action by a public authority, transport problems or labour disputes.

12. Links and third parties

The website may link to other sites and uses third-party services such as payment, hosting and email. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Changes

We may change these terms and the policies from time to time. The version on the website when you order or book is the one that applies to that order or booking. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction, but nothing here removes a right you have to go to a court or tribunal where you live. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them. Please contact us first and give us a chance to put things right.
